Tactus è un'app metronomo per musicisti, sviluppata da Lorenzo Menegazzo. Questa pagina descrive in modo trasparente quali dati l'app raccoglie e utilizza.
In sintesi
- Nessun account, nessuna registrazione.
- Nessun tracciamento e nessun analytics di terze parti. La versione gratuita mostra annunci non personalizzati (Google AdMob); Tactus Pro li rimuove.
- I tuoi dati (sequenze ritmiche, preferenze) restano solo sul tuo dispositivo.
- Se usi la funzione di dettatura vocale, il testo trascritto viene inviato a Google Gemini per essere interpretato come sequenza musicale.
Dati raccolti localmente sul dispositivo
L'app salva sul tuo dispositivo (e solo lì):
- Le sequenze ritmiche che crei e salvi nella Libreria.
- Le tue preferenze (BPM, time signature, volume, count-in, tema chiaro/scuro).
Questi dati non vengono mai inviati a server esterni dall'app. Vengono memorizzati con il framework SwiftData di Apple e rimossi automaticamente se disinstalli l'app.
Microfono e riconoscimento vocale
L'app richiede il permesso del microfono e del riconoscimento vocale solo per la funzione "Voce" (dettatura di sequenze parlate).
- La trascrizione audio → testo avviene tramite il framework
SFSpeechRecognizerdi Apple. A seconda del dispositivo, può essere completata on-device oppure tramite i server Apple (vedi privacy policy di Apple). - L'audio non viene salvato dall'app né inviato a nostri server.
- Puoi negare il permesso in qualsiasi momento dalle Impostazioni del dispositivo; l'app continuerà a funzionare normalmente (la funzione "Voce" sarà disabilitata).
Invio del testo a Google Gemini
Quando dopo la dettatura vocale (o l'inserimento manuale di testo) usi la funzione che converte il testo in una sequenza ritmica, il solo testo trascritto viene inviato all'API Google Gemini per essere interpretato.
- Non vengono inviati identificatori personali, audio, registrazioni o altri dati.
- Il testo è una breve descrizione musicale (es. "120 bpm per quattro battute, poi accelera a 160").
- Google tratta i dati secondo la propria Privacy Policy e i termini dell'API Gemini.
- Se preferisci non usare Gemini, evita le funzioni "Voce" e "Genera da testo": il resto dell'app funziona interamente offline.
Pubblicità e analytics
La versione gratuita di Tactus mostra un banner tramite Google AdMob. Gli annunci sono configurati come non personalizzati: non vengono usati per profilarti né per pubblicità basata sui tuoi interessi.
Anche con annunci non personalizzati, Google AdMob può raccogliere e trattare alcuni dati tecnici (ad es. identificatori del dispositivo, indirizzo IP, dati d'uso e diagnostici) per finalità come la prevenzione delle frodi, la limitazione della frequenza degli annunci e la produzione di statistiche aggregate. Tactus non richiede l'accesso all'IDFA e non mostra il prompt di tracciamento (ATT).
Se ti trovi nell'Unione Europea, alla prima apertura ti viene mostrato un modulo di consenso (Google User Messaging Platform) in cui puoi acconsentire, gestire le opzioni o negare il consenso. Google tratta questi dati secondo la propria Privacy Policy e le informazioni su come Google usa i dati.
Acquistando Tactus Pro gli annunci vengono rimossi e l'SDK pubblicitario non viene più utilizzato. L'app non usa analytics di terze parti.
Acquisti in-app
Tactus offre un acquisto una tantum, Tactus Pro, che sblocca funzioni aggiuntive e rimuove gli annunci. Il pagamento è gestito interamente da Apple tramite l'App Store: l'app non riceve né conserva i dati della tua carta o del pagamento. Lo stato dell'acquisto è gestito tramite StoreKit di Apple.
Dati raccolti da Apple
Se installi l'app tramite App Store o TestFlight, Apple può raccogliere statistiche aggregate sull'uso e sui crash secondo la sua privacy policy. Non condividiamo questi dati con terze parti.
Bambini
L'app non è specificamente rivolta ai bambini sotto i 13 anni e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati di minori.

In caso di modifiche, aggiorneremo la data in cima a questa pagina. Le modifiche significative verranno comunicate anche nelle note di rilascio dell'app.

Tactus is a metronome app for musicians, developed by Lorenzo Menegazzo. This page describes transparently which data the app collects and uses.
Summary
- No account, no registration.
- No tracking and no third-party analytics. The free version shows non-personalized ads (Google AdMob); Tactus Pro removes them.
- Your data (rhythmic sequences, preferences) stays only on your device.
- If you use the voice dictation feature, the transcribed text is sent to Google Gemini to be interpreted as a musical sequence.
Data stored locally on your device
The app stores on your device (and only there):
- The rhythmic sequences you create and save in the Library.
- Your preferences (BPM, time signature, volume, count-in, light/dark theme).
This data is never sent to external servers by the app. It is stored via Apple's SwiftData framework and removed automatically when you uninstall the app.
Microphone and speech recognition
The app requests microphone and speech recognition permission only for the "Voice" feature (spoken sequence dictation).
- Audio-to-text transcription happens via Apple's
SFSpeechRecognizerframework. Depending on your device, this may run on-device or via Apple's servers (see Apple's privacy policy). - Audio is not saved by the app or sent to our servers.
- You can deny permission at any time in your device settings; the app will keep working normally (the Voice feature will be disabled).
Sending text to Google Gemini
When after voice dictation (or manual text input) you use the feature that converts text into a rhythmic sequence, only the transcribed text is sent to the Google Gemini API for interpretation.
- No personal identifiers, audio, recordings, or other data are sent.
- The text is a brief musical description (e.g. "120 bpm for four beats, then accelerate to 160").
- Google processes data according to its Privacy Policy and the Gemini API terms.
- If you prefer not to use Gemini, avoid the "Voice" and "Generate from text" features: the rest of the app works entirely offline.
Advertising and analytics
The free version of Tactus displays a banner through Google AdMob. Ads are configured as non-personalized: they are not used to profile you or to serve interest-based advertising.
Even with non-personalized ads, Google AdMob may collect and process certain technical data (e.g. device identifiers, IP address, usage and diagnostic data) for purposes such as fraud prevention, ad frequency capping and aggregated reporting. Tactus does not request access to the IDFA and does not show the tracking (ATT) prompt.
If you are located in the European Union, a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) is shown on first launch, where you can consent, manage options, or deny consent. Google processes this data according to its Privacy Policy and its information on how Google uses data.
Purchasing Tactus Pro removes ads and the advertising SDK is no longer used. The app does not use third-party analytics.
In-app purchases
Tactus offers a one-time purchase, Tactus Pro, which unlocks additional features and removes ads. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store: the app neither receives nor stores your card or payment data. Purchase status is managed via Apple's StoreKit.
Data collected by Apple
If you install the app via the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may collect aggregate usage and crash statistics according to its privacy policy. We do not share this data with third parties.
Children
The app is not specifically directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be communicated in the app's release notes.
